  1. I love this. I don’t know all the reasons but the balance and contrasts are striking plus the unusual mixture of colors. I’m no critic, but I know what I like!

  2. This is fantastic. Really like this work a lot. The shape of the figure makes me think of an extra-terrestrial (meant as a compliment). The whole alien thing as aliens are usually portrayed has always appealed to me on some level. It makes wonder if religions are actually talking about aliens when they talk of angels and other extra-terrestrial entities. For me this creation encapsulates that whole notion.

    1. That is one very strange video Terry. No thoughts of aliens were in me when I made this painting, although I can see the resemblance to the alien stereotype. If you were to read the origin of the vision of Our Lady of Guadalupe you would recognize how familiar this type of event is in the Catholic religion. The possibility that these visions were actually meetings with aliens is slim and I tend to maintain a certain skepticism – however; all things are possible and my head is open enough to play with this idea.Read my UFO experiences in my latest award post. 3. I love the colours, Clinock. And I like the way her arms are extended over her in what sems to be an attitude of peace. The lady seems sad (for us perhaps?). Her arms seem disproportionate to the rest of her body: neither good nor bad. Just wonder if it is a statement – unconscious or otherwise. I love what appears to be a halo, and stylized crown of thorns on her head. Perhaps I’m reading too much into it.
